Pacing Calendar

The DataWORKS Pacing Calendar is a teacher's dream come true. In this one bound booklet you will find nearly every resource needed for planning your entire school year, custom made to fit the curriculum adopted by the school. The best part is: we do all the work for you!

By using the DataWORKS Pacing Calendar, teachers can be sure that they have covered every standard multiple times prior to students taking the state test!

Here are just some of the things each Pacing Calendar includes:

  • The content standards for their specific grade-level.
  • A list of the key standards for their grade-level as determined by the state.
  • A list of the standards that are not present in their textbooks (identified by the alignment guide).
  • A monthly calendar that displays an overview of the material covered and school events including scheduled quizzes and benchmarks tests.
  • A weekly/daily calendar organized in 5-day weeks that includes the assignments to be completed each day. Assignments are color-coded to indicate whether this is the first time the lesson is introduced or if it is a periodic review.
  • Built-in periodic review in the following increments: 1, 2, 6, and 15 days. Plus every 15 days throughout the remainder of the school year!
  • DataWORKS horizontal standards.
  • A list of the state-released questions for their grade and subject.

DataWORKS' experienced professionals strategically map out the school year based on the state blueprints to insure that the most heavily tested standards are given more focus than standards that hold little weight on the test. They also provide the teacher with a logical progression through the school year so that pertinent sub-skills are learned before mastering more specific subject matter.

It is best to contract this service in the winter or early spring in order to have it ready by the start of the new school year since it is a big job which requires 2-3 weeks of work per grade, per subject.

In order to complete this service, we need to have one set of the school's textbooks in-house for the duration of the service (CD-ROM copies are fine if they have all the material on them).
