DataWORKS Classroom Productivity Index (DPI) Workshop
|
Improving the effectiveness of classroom, instruction-not student testing or after school
tutoring-is the key to improving student learning and student achievement.
The DataWORKS Classroom Productivity Index Workshop is an all day
(one to two day) staff development in classroom productivity.
Includes training in standards and instruction. Instructional
leaders must attend to learn what the teachers are learning and
to support effective and ongoing implementation.

Ongoing measurements of instructional processes are important.
If processes are not improving, corrective action needs to be taken since students are not
being taught in the most efficient and effective manner.
During DataWORKS Classroom Productivity Index (DPI) Classroom Monitoring, a DataWORKS
researcher along with the school’s leadership team conduct walkthroughs to measure
and monitor Time on Task and collect student work for analysis of alignment of assignments
to standards.
